- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. elbow macaroni
- 2 c. tomato juice
- 1/2 lb. raw ground beef or cubed, cooked beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. cubed cheese
Directions

1Melt butter in skillet on low heat.

2Add macaroni; stir to coat thoroughly with fat.

3Add tomato juice and bring to a rapid boil.

4Stir in ground beef or cooked beef and onion.

5Add salt and pepper.

6Cover and reduce heat to 250°.

7Cook 15 to 20 minutes. Remove cover and sprinkle cubed cheese over top.

8Remove from heat.

9Cover and let cheese melt.

10A tossed salad or fruit salad will complete the meal.
