  • 2 12 tablespoons butter
  • 13 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 cup milk
  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 5 tablespoons golden syrup

Directions

    Preheat oven to 180.

    With electric mixer, beat butter and sugar.

    Add egg and vanilla, milk and flour.

    Grease a 6 pan non stick muffin pan with butter.

    Place 3 teaspoons of batter in each pan.

    Top batter with 3 teaspoons of syrup, top with remaining batter.

    Place in centre of oven to bake for about 20 minutes.

    Test with a skewer.

    Carefully invert to serve hot.
