Easy Vegetable Soup Recipe

- 1 (8 ounce.) can stewed tomatoes
- 1/2 c. tomato juice
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon diced dry basil, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon dry oregano, crushed
- Dash garlic pwdr
- 1/2 c. loose pack frzn broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots or possibly other frzn mixed vegetables
- 2 tbsp. orzo
- 1 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1In a medium saucepan combine stewed tomatoes, tomato juice, water, sugar, basil, oregano and garlic pwdr.

2Cook over medium high heat till boiling.

3Stir frzn vegetables and orzo into the tomato mix.

4Return to boiling.

5Reduce heat.

6Simmer, covered about 10 min or possibly till vegetables and pasta are tender.

7To serve, ladle into 2 bowls.

8Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

9Makes 2 servings.
