- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. Crisco oil
- 1 egg
- 5 1/2 c. flour
- 1 stick butter, melted
Directions

1Dissolve sugar and yeast in water.

2Add salt, oil and egg.

3Add about 5 1/2 cups flour (just sift into mixture; dough will be sticky).

4Pat dough onto floured board; cut and dip into butter. Fold.

5Let rise 1 1/2 hours.

6Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.

7Makes 25 rolls.

8This dough will hold in refrigerator for 3 days.
