- 1 c. Crisco
- 1 stick margarine
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour (unsifted)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 3 or 4 drops yellow food coloring (optional)
Directions

1Blend Crisco, margarine and sugar until fluffy.

2Add eggs, one at a time.

3Mix flour, salt and baking powder together; add alternately with milk.

4Add flavorings and food coloring last; blend well.

5Pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan; bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
