- 2 c. buttermilk
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 c. cornmeal
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 medium size onions, chopped
- 3 to 4 cans Swanson chicken broth
Directions

1Mix first 6 ingredients and pour in well greased cast-iron skillet.

2Bake at 450° until toothpick comes out clean in center. Cool bread; crumble bread in a large bowl.

3Add onions and chicken broth until mushy.

4Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan and spread dressing in pan.

5Bake at 325° for 35 minutes or until slightly browned, but not dried out.
