- 1 lb. American cheese, grated
- 6 eggs, well beaten
- 3 c. milk
- 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
- dash of pepper

1Butter bread on one side and dice into 1/2-inch cubes.

3In 2-quart buttered casserole, alternate layers of bread and cheese (4 layers).

4Mix rest of ingredients.

5Pour over bread and cheese.

6Refrigerate overnight and bake at 350° for about 1 hour.
