- 6 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 qt. milk, scalded
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Scald the milk; let cool. Blend eggs, sugar and salt.

2Slowly stir in slightly cooled milk. Add vanilla. Bake in a 325° oven for 45 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

3Place custard cups in pan of water to cook.
