Ingredients

  • 6 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 qt. milk, scalded
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Scald the milk; let cool. Blend eggs, sugar and salt.

    Slowly stir in slightly cooled milk. Add vanilla. Bake in a 325° oven for 45 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

    Place custard cups in pan of water to cook.
