  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 c. milk
  • dash of salt
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream sugar with butter.

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Cook 10 minutes at 400°.

    Then turn oven to 350° and cook until 1/3 of center still shakes.

    Remove from oven; it will finish cooking as it cools.
