- 2 c. chicken stock
- 1 1/2 tsp. water
- 3/4 tsp. cornstarch
- dash of ground pepper
- 1 tsp. dry sherry
- 2 green onions, diced
- 2 tsp. soy sauce, diluted with 1 Tbsp. water
- 2 egg whites, lightly beaten
Directions

1Bring stock to a slow boil.

2Mix water and cornstarch in a small bowl.

3Stir into stock and simmer for 2 minutes.

4Add pepper, sherry, onion and soy sauce mixture.

5Remove from heat and slowly add in egg whites.

6Let stand 1 minute, then serve.

7Makes 2 servings.
