- 2-1/4 cups Unbleached All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Nutmeg, Plus More To Sprinkle On Cookies
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1-1/4 cup Sugar
- 3/4 cups Butter, Softened
- 1/2 cups Eggnog
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 whole Egg Yolks
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 300°F.

2In a bowl, mix together the flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and baking powder. Set aside for later use.

3In a mixing bowl, cream the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Slowly add the eggnog, vanilla, and egg yolks. Mix with a mixer until smooth. Add the flour mixture and beat until just combined.

4Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets, one inch apart. Lightly sprinkle each cookie with nutmeg. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.

5Note: for sweeter cookies, mix together 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll the dough into balls and drop into the powdered sugar mixture before placing cookies on the cookie sheet. You will loose a bit of the eggnog taste in lieu of a more sweeter cookie. Your choice.
