- 2 lb. hamburger or ground chuck
- 3 c. small elbow macaroni
- tomato juice
- 2 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Fry hamburger or ground chuck until light brown.

2Drain and set aside.

3In boiling water, place macaroni.

4Cook according to package.

5Drain.

6Using the same cooker, add hamburger to macaroni mixture along with enough tomato juice to cover macaroni mixture completely.

7Add sugar and stir well.

8Let mixture simmer on warm until the macaroni takes on the flavor of the tomato juice.

9Can add onions or green peppers if desired, but not necessary.

10Serves 8.
