  • 2 qt. green beans
  • 1 qt. canned tomatoes
  • bacon grease, fat back or your usual seasoning for beans or 2 bouillon cubes
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Cook green beans with seasonings for approximately 2 hours, until very tender.

    Cook them down so there isn't a lot of water left in them.

    Add onion and tomatoes and cook for another hour or so.
  4. 4
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
