Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 large Ragu spaghetti sauce (with mushrooms)
  • 2 large cans tomato paste (Italian?)
  • 1 qt. jar canned tomatoes (add water to make 2 c. juice)
  • 2 small cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 15 oz. Ricotta or creamed cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 lb. lasagne noodles, cooked, drained and rinsed in cold water
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions

    Brown hamburger and onion in a large pan.

    Drain.

    Add Ragu, tomato paste, canned tomatoes, water (if needed), garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley and oregano.

    Simmer together until thick.

    Mix the Ricotta cheese and the beaten eggs.
