- 2 c. soft winter wheat grains
- 1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 1/2 c. salted, blanched peanuts
Directions

1Soak wheat overnight in hot water to cover.

2Drain.

3Place in heavy pan and add salt and cayenne pepper.

4Roast, stirring constantly, over medium-high heat in a large, heavy pan until golden brown (about 15 to 20 minutes).

5Add peanuts and roast about 5 more minutes.

6Let cool; store in airtight container.
