- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lb sirloin steak
- 12 lb sliced mushrooms
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 12 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry or 2 tablespoons cognac
- salt and pepper
- 12 cup light sour cream
Directions

1Slice the sirloin into 1/4 inch by 2 inch slices, set aside.

2Saute onion and mushrooms in olive oil until softened.

3Add the sirloin, cover and simmer on medium low for 30 minutes.

4Drain 1/2 of the juice from the pan.

5Add the sherry, cream of mushroom soup, paprika, dry mustard, salt and pepper.

6Cover and simmer on low for 10 minutes.

7Add the sour cream to the mixture and heat through.

8Serve over egg noodles or rice.
