  • fresh cucumbers
  • dill
  • hot peppers
  • garlic buds
  • 3 qt. water
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp. canning salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

    Pack washed cucumbers into jars with a sprig of dill, several garlic buds and as many hot peppers as you wish.

    Mix the water, vinegar, canning salt and sugar.

    Boil and pour over cucumbers and let set.

    When cucumbers have changed color, chill and enjoy.
