- 3 qt. figs (4 lb.), cut up (preferably Kadota figs)
- 1 lb. seedless raisins
- 2 oranges with peeling
- 6 c. sugar
- 1 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
Directions

1Wash figs and cut into small pieces.

2Wash oranges.

3Squeeze juice into figs.

4Grind raisins and oranges, including peeling (using fine plate), and add to figs.

5Cook mixture for approximately 55 minutes, until transparent or done.

6Stir often to prevent scorching.

7Add coarsely chopped pecans to cooked mixture and continue cooking another 5 to 10 minutes, again stirring to keep mixture from scorching.

8Pour into sterilized jars and seal.

9Yields 8 pints.
