- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. coconut extract
- 1 tsp. butter extract
- 5 eggs, beaten
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. rum extract
- 1 tsp. orange extract
Directions

1Cream butter and shortening.

2Gradually add sugar and eggs; beat well.

3Add flour and milk alternately, ending with flour. Add extracts in milk.

4Bake in greased and floured 10-inch round tube pan for 25 minutes at 275°.

5Raise temperature to 350° and bake 35 minutes more.

6Let cool in pan.

7Remove and punch holes in cake with toothpick.
