- 1 loaf French bread
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. syrup (corn or maple)
- 5 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Heat butter, sugar and syrup to boiling; boil 1 minute.

2Whisk together eggs, milk and cinnamon.

3Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan. Slice bread into 3/4-inch to 1-inch pieces; place in single layer over syrup.

4Pour egg mixture over bread.

5Cover and refrigerate overnight.

6Bake uncovered 35 to 40 minutes at 350°.
