- 1 cut up fryer
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- cooking oil (to cover chicken)
Directions

1Sprinkle salt and pepper on chicken. Coat chicken with flour. Dip in buttermilk and then coat in flour again. Heat oil. Add chicken, 4 or 5 pieces at a time.

2Fry until brown on one side. Turn and brown on other side.

3Drain on paper towel.

4Serve hot.
