  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 box currants
  • 1 box seedless raisins
  • 1 lb. mixed fruit
  • 1 box muscat raisins
  • 1 box candied cherries or bottled
  • 1 lb. walnuts
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 lb. sugar (1 c.)
  • 1/2 pt. milk
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. each: cloves, allspice and cinnamon

Directions

    Line your cake pan with waxed paper and bake in a 325° oven for 2 hours.

    Let stand 24 hours.

    Remove from pan and then wrap in aluminum foil.
