  • 4 c. sliced apples (about 4 medium apples)
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tbsp. melted margarine
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. Bisquick

Directions

    Combine apples, sugar and cinnamon.

    Pour into 1-quart baking dish (well-greased).

    Mix remaining ingredients and drop by spoonfuls onto fruit. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and bake 10 minutes longer or until fruit is tender and dough is golden brown. Serve warm with cream or ice cream.
