- 2 sticks margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 large can fruit cocktail (reserve juice)
- 1 tsp. each: salt, cinnamon and nutmeg
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 c. raisins
Directions

1Cream the sugar and margarine; add eggs.

2Add dry ingredients and mix well.

3Add raisins, nuts and fruit cocktail; mix by hand. Add reserved juice if needed.

4Bake at 325° for 1 hour in a 9 x 12-inch pan or tube pan.

5When cake cools, add topping.
