- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 can fruit cocktail
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. nuts
Directions

1Combine sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, eggs, salt and soda. Add 2 cups fruit cocktail plus the juice.

2Beat 3 minutes with mixer.

3Pour into greased and floured pan.

4Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup nuts and spread over cake batter.

5Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350°.
