- 6 c. sliced apples, pears or peaches (approximately 6 pieces of fruit)
- 1 c. uncooked quick oats
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- chopped nuts (optional)
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Place pared, sliced fruit in 8-inch square baking dish.

3Combine remaining ingredients, mixing until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture over apples.

4Bake about 30 minutes, until fruit is tender and topping is golden.

5Serve alone or with whipped cream or ice cream.
