Ingredients
- 1 c. Kretschmer honey wheat germ
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 c. skim milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 2 egg whites, slightly beaten
- 1 c. blueberries
- 1 mashed banana or chopped apple
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Line 12 muffin cups with paper baking cups or lightly grease bottoms only with nonstick cooking spray. Combine first 5 ingredients.

3Add combined milk, oil and egg whites; mix just until dry ingredients are moistened.

4Stir in fruit.

5Fill prepared muffin cups almost full.

6Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.

7Serve warm or store tightly wrapped in freezer.

8To reheat, microwave on High about 30 seconds per muffin.
