Ingredients

  • 1 can cherries
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 1/4 c. water
  • 1 pkg. strawberry jello
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple
  • red food coloring
  • 3 sliced bananas
  • 1 c. pecans
  • 1 baked pie crust
  • whipped cream or Cool Whip for top

Directions

    Drain juice from cherries into saucepan.

    Add cornstarch and water; cook until thick and clear.

    Remove from heat and add jello.

    Dissolve jello and add sugar.

    Add cherries, pineapple and coloring.

    Let cool and add bananas and pecans.

    Let cool until jello starts to jell.

    Pour into crust and top with Cool Whip or whipped cream.

    Chill.
