Ingredients

  • 1 (1 oz.) square unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
  • vanilla ice cream

Directions

    Mix all ingredients (except nuts and ice cream) until smooth. Pour into greased 9-inch pie pan.

    Sprinkle with nuts.

    Bake pie until side begins to pull away from pan and top springs back when lightly touched with fingers about 25 minutes at 350°.

    Serve warm or cold with ice cream.
