- 2 cups peeled diced apples
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup nuts (chopped)
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions

1Mix apples and sugar together.

2Let stand until sugar is thoroughly dissolved.

3Add eggs and mix well.

4Sift dry ingredients together.

5Stir into apple mixture.

6Add nuts, raisins, and vanilla.

7Pour into 8 X 8 inch pan which is slightly oiled.

8Bake at 375° for 40 - 45 minutes.

9If preferred use unsweetened can sliced apples instead of fresh apples.
