  • 2 cups peeled diced apples
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup nuts (chopped)
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

    Mix apples and sugar together.

    Let stand until sugar is thoroughly dissolved.

    Add eggs and mix well.

    Sift dry ingredients together.

    Stir into apple mixture.

    Add nuts, raisins, and vanilla.

    Pour into 8 X 8 inch pan which is slightly oiled.
