- 1 unbaked pie crust
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. pecans
- 1 (4 oz.) pkg. German sweet chocolate
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 c. coconut
Directions

1Melt chocolate and butter.

2Remove from heat and blend in milk.

3Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt.

4Beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend in chocolate mixture.

5Pour into pie shell.

6Combine coconut and pecans.

7Sprinkle over filling.

8Bake at 375° for 45 to 50 minutes or until puffed and brown.

9Cool for at least 4 hours.
