- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. ginger
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. milk
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 c. molasses
- 1/2 c. oil
Directions

1Combine flour, soda, baking powder, sugar, salt and seasonings.

2In small bowl, combine milk and eggs thoroughly. Blend in molasses and oil.

3Pour batter into 2 greased square baking pans.

4Bake at 325° for 40 to 50 minutes or until brown. Remove pans.

5Use toothpick to test for doneness.

6Let stand 5 to 10 minutes.

7Serves 9 to 10.
