- 1 lb carrot (about 6 medium)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
Directions

1Cut carrots in half crosswise, then lengthwise into 2 or 3 sticks.

2Simmer, covered, in a small amount of boiling salted water for about 10 minutes or until crisp-tender.

4Melt the butter.

5Stir in brown sugar until dissolved.

6Add carrots.

7Cook over medium-low heat about 10 minutes, turning often.
