- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1 egg white
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. water
- 1 c. pecan halves
- 1 c. walnut halves
- 1 c. blanched almonds
Directions

1In small mixing bowl, combine sugar, spices and salt.

2Beat egg white lightly and stir into sugar-spice mixture; stir in water.

3Blend well.

4Add nuts, 1/2 at a time.

5Use fork, stir to coat nuts well.

6Lift up and drain.

7Place on greased baking sheet, separating each nut.

8Bake at 275° until golden crusty, about 45 minutes.

9Remove from baking sheet with a spatula.

10Store in container with tight lid.

11Makes 3 cups.
