- 4 c. sliced fresh peaches
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 9-inch pie shell, baked
Directions

1Crush enough peaches to make 1 cup, leaving rest sliced. Combine crushed peaches with water, sugar and cornstarch.

2Bring to a boil and cook over low heat until clear (2 or 3 minutes), stirring occasionally, then add butter.

3Cool slightly.

4Line baked pie shell with fresh peach slices.

5Pour glaze mixture over peach slices.

6Chill for 2 hours or more.
