- 3 Tbsp. light Karo syrup
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 qt. pecan halves
- salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300°.

2Heat Karo and oil in cast-iron skillet. Stir to mix.

3Add pecans and salt thoroughly.

4Place skillet in oven and bake 35 minutes.

5Stir occasionally.

6Remove from oven and place pecans on wax paper.

7Separate pecans and salt thoroughly.

8These become crisp as they cool.
