Glazed Pork Chops

  • 4 pork chops
  • 4 slices apple, cored
  • 4 slices orange
  • ground cinnamon
  • ground cloves
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. orange juice

Directions

    Brown pork chops on both sides and drain.

    Top each with a slice of apple and orange.

    Sprinkle with dash of cinnamon and cloves. Add beef broth (undiluted) and brown sugar.

    Cover and simmer 35 minutes or until chops are tender.

    Stir cornstarch into orange juice until smooth.

    Blend into broth. Simmer a few minutes until sauce is thickened.

    Remove chops to platter and pour sauce over them.
