- 8 c. unbleached white flour
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. water
- 4 c. vegetable water
- 1/2 c. tomato juice
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 2 c. chopped onion
- 6 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix flour with enough water to make a stiff dough.

2Form dough into a ball and knead about 10 minutes.

3Place in bowl and cover with additional water.

4Let stand 30 minutes or overnight.

5Knead dough with hands under water to wash out the starch.

6Pour off the starchy water and cover with more water.
-
7Continue washing until water is almost clear.
-
8You now have concentrated protein to make the steaks!
