  • 1 loaf Italian or French bread, split lengthwise
  • 6 cups assorted sliced mushrooms, such as portabello, crimini and button
  • 1 cup sliced green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 cup ATHENOS Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese

    Scoop out center of bread loaf, leaving 1-inch thick shell.

    Cook and stir mushrooms, onions and garlic in olive oil until tender.

    Fill bread shell with mushroom mixture.

    Top with cheese.

    Wrap in foil.

    Bake at 400F for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.

    Slice before serving.
