- 2 c. coarsely chopped onion
- 1/4 c. coarsely chopped carrots
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- m.s.g. (optional)
- 1 1/4 lb. chuck or round, cubed
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3/4 can beer
- 1 c. beef bouillon
- parsley
Directions

1Saute onion, carrots and garlic in oil for 5 minutes.

2Add meat and m.s.g. and brown 15 minutes.

3Add remaining ingredients and simmer 2 hours.

4Serve on broad, hot, buttered noodles.
