  • 6 c. quick-cooking oatmeal (not instant)
  • 1/2 jar wheat germ
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2/3 c. honey
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • almonds (optional)
  • coconut (optional)

Directions

    Mix dry ingredients in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Add liquid and mix again.

    Stir in nuts, coconut, etc.

    Bake at 325° for 35 minutes, stirring occasionally.
