Ingredients

  • 4 c. oats (whole or quick)
  • 1 c. raw almonds, cut up
  • 1 c. wheat bran
  • 1 c. wheat germ or oat germ
  • 1 c. sunflower seeds, blended
  • 1 c. raisins or unsweetened flaked coconut
  • 1 c. sesame seed
  • 1/2 c. canola oil
  • 3/4 c. honey
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine all dry ingredients in a large roasting pan.

    In a small saucepan, combine oil, honey and vanilla.

    Bring to a boil. Pour over dry ingredients.

    Mix well and bake at 325° for about 15 minutes, stirring several times.

    Cool and store in a tightly covered container in a cool, dry area.

    Makes about 3 quarts.
