  • 1 12 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
  • 34 cup raisins
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 14 cup Post Grape-Nuts cereal
  • 14 cup brown sugar
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla extract

    In a heavy saucepan, stir together tapioca, boiling water, brown sugar, raisins and cereal.

    Let stand for 5 minutes.

    Over high heat, bring this mixture to a boil, stirring well to prevent sticking.

    Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in vanilla.
