- 1 lb. beef chuck, round steak or hamburger
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic or garlic powder
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/2 c. green peppers, cut into small pieces
- 1 stalk celery
- 2 tomatoes, cut up
- 1 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
Directions

1Combine soy sauce, garlic, onion, peppers, celery, tomatoes and 1 cup water.

2Cook about 20 minutes.

3Fry hamburgers in small patties until done.

4Pour off grease and then pour first mixture over hamburgers in skillet.

5Make 3/4 cup water and 1 tablespoon flour or cornstarch in cup.

6Shake well and pour over hamburgers; simmer about 15 minutes.

7Serve with rice or fried potatoes.

8If it's too thick, add a little more water and stir in.
