- 6 kingklip fillets or any firm white fish
- 4 tsp fish spice
- 4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 100 grams cheddar cheese, grated
- 250 grams garlic butter
Directions

1Preheat oven to maximum top grill

2Place a frying pan on high heat

3Mix all the spices together

4Season fish on both sides with the mixed spices

5Fry the fish in the frying pan over high heat using 100 grams garlic butter, only on one side for a minute

6Take an oven pan and grease the bottom with 50 grams of garlic butter

7Place the fried fish in the buttered oven pan with the fried side down

8Melt 100 grams of garlic butter and brush on the fish

9Top with the grated cheddar cheese

10Grill the fish in the oven for 12-15 minutes depending on the thickness of the fillets
