  • 1-1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Salt
  • 1/2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Active Dry Yeast
  • 4 cups Lukewarm Water, Or More If Needed
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

Directions

    Combine white all purpose flour with whole wheat flour in a large bowl. Add salt, sugar and dry yeast and stir to combine everything. Pour in the water one cup at the time and stir with a wooden spoon after each time. If you need more water you can add more. Try to make deep and strong stirs using a big wooden spoon. Add olive oil and stir to combine. Cover the bowl with a piece of plastic wrap or a tea towel and place in a warm draft free part of your kitchen for 1 hour.

    After 1 hour preheat the oven on 375 F.

    Grease a standard size loaf pan and place the dough into the pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
