  • 1 c. elbow macaroni
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 c. cooked ham
  • 2 c. peeled and sliced apples
  • 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter

    salt and pepper. Add milk all at once; cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.

    and sliced apples.

    Turn mixture into a 2 quart casserole dish. Combine bread crumbs and 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for about 35 minutes.
