- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. cider vinegar
- 1/3 c. water
- 1 can beets, sliced or diced
Directions

1Drain beets.

2Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add vinegar and water and bring to boil. Simmer about 5 minutes until sauce is clear.

3Add drained beets and stir well.

4Let stand at least 1/2 hour.

5Rewarm and add butter before serving.
