  • 1 1/4 c. white flour
  • 1 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. finely chopped apples
  • 1/4 c. chopped walnuts

    Mix dry ingredients together.

    Add eggs, oil and vanilla. Mixture will be thick.

    Beat 2 to 3 minutes.

    Stir in apples and nuts.

    Bake in a tube pan, greased and floured, in a 325° oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
