- 12 cup butter, softened
- 12 cup packed brown sugar
- 13 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup vanilla chip
- 1 cup chopped hazelnuts, toasted
Directions

1In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars.

2Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.

3Combine dry ingredients.

4Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture and mix well.

5Stir in chips and nuts.

6Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls.

7Place on greased baking sheets.

8Flatten to 1/2 inch thickness with a glass dipped in sugar.

9Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.

10Remove to a wire rack to cool.
